Welcome to Our Wiki!

Jose Cheesman, Rozi Horn and Carmela Williams write about knowledge management ("KM") and more specifically Collaborative Work Systems ("CWS"). KM "comprises a range of practices used by organizations to identify, create, represent, and distribute knowledge" (source:Wikipedia).  Collaboration is important, and teams (i.e., work systems) whether local or dispersed throughout the world can come together to help organizations achieve goals.  We will explore the concept of CWS within this Wiki.

We hope you enjoy navigating through this Wiki.  We have tried to make it user-friendly; links to pages are presented to your left. Our goal is that the information presented here along with the resources will provide you with a broader insight and knowledge base of the CWS methodology, and its utilization within the KM concept.
